This report presents a R& effort to define a tool architecture for the automatic generation of adaptive user interfaces, as scheduled for workpackage WP2C of the work to be carried out by INESC in research project C.1.9. SVILUPPO DI METODOLOGIE, SISTEMI E SERVIZI INNOVATIVI IN RETE, in collaboration with OIS RICERA S.c.p.A., Via Alberotanza 5, 70125 Bari, Italy.
It seems from the first evidences that the adaption mechanism could be based on a simple user-model supported by a dedicated component. This milestone will describe the adaption mechanism needed to reach effective results in both syntactical and graphical representations.
