Goals
- Understand the architecture and commitments involved in the design and management of access and core networks;
- Understand the technological evolution of telecommunications infrastructures;
- Discuss the use of technologies in different scenarios of network interconnection;
- Master the principles underlying multiplexing and switching to support different network services;

Theoretical
- Theoretical (T) - 60% of the final grade
- Minimum grade: 8.0 (0-20 points)
Pratical
- Theoretical-Practical (TPs) - 40% of the final grade
- Practical work during TPs, to be carried out (mainly) during classes
- Minimum grade: 8.0 (0-20 points)
- Work in a team with 3 or 4 members
Final Grade (FG)
- FG = T * 0.6 + TP * 0.4
